We are looking for postdoctoral researcher to conduct interdisciplinary research in the area of enzymology, protein engineering, inhibitors design, and structural biology. We wish to understand the differences in structure-function relationship in closely related enzymes to provide safe and specific inhibitors for particular pests. Position funded from the National Science Centre grant.
Open access publication Computational insights into the known inhibitors of human soluble epoxide hydrolase was published.
Our 4 years project dedicated to the development of safe and selective pesticides against forests pests was awarded! Thank you to all members who greatly contributed to project preparation. Project will start in October 2021. Stay tuned for open positions announcements.
Our joint publication with authors from the Basel University – Computational Selectivity Assessment of Protease Inhibitors against SARS-CoV-2 was just published in IJMS journal. The high similarity between Mpro and human proteases can limit drugs developed against Mpro due to off-targeting and the side effects.
Divine’s project was awarded in Miniature 4 call from National Science Centre. Congratulations!!! More information about the results of Miniature 4 here.
